With a unique and holistic approach to life and design, Day True applied its spatial planning superpowers to this project in St John’s Wood by creating functional and enjoyable living spaces with a timeless colour palette to appeal to the wider rental market. See: World’s best homes – tour the globes most beautiful houses Specialists in kitchen, bathroom and home, Day True worked alongside the architects and contractors to transform this previously vacant property into a sleek and contemporary, high-end home rental within the developer’s budget. As the property was to be rented unfurnished, feature pendant lights were placed in all communal areas as a way to add character and elevate the property. A large space with plenty of storage, the furniture in the kitchen was kept low, rather than positioned on the walls, to ensure an open and spacious feeling. Feature wall lights were used to create interesting focal points as well as provide functional lighting for the cooking preparation area. Layers of dark units and furniture were paired with a timeless, contrasting Carrara marble surface to add interest to the kitchen. Satin brass details on handles and feature lighting completed the look to create a simple, clean solution that would appeal to a wide audience without appearing bland. Each bathroom within the property was designed to be individual by using tiles in varying textures and patterns as well as different brassware ranges and finishes. Styling elements such as feature mirrors, interesting lighting and wallpaper also helped create distinctive looks and personalities for each room. Cleverly concealed, the master en-suite can be discovered through a secret wardrobe door and is a particular standout feature of the property.
