His latest deal? Selling his stunning Century City condo in LA for a cool $21.6 million. The condominium building, which houses some of the world’s best homes, was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects in 2009, and it immediately attracted a host of celebrities, including Paula Abdul, Elizabeth Berkley and Rihanna, as well as Matthew. Outdone only by his upstairs neighbor Candy Spelling, who bought the top two floors, floors 41 and 42, Perry purchased the entire 40th floor in 2017. The space measures 9,318 square feet with floor-to-ceiling views over Los Angeles - visually stunning in daylight and sparkling with lights at night. The apartment boasts enormous rooms including a living room with two fireplaces and a huge master suite with multiple living areas – perfect for garnering inspiration for living room ideas – particularly for open plan spaces. The price tag of this apartment is explain by its sheer size: there are four bedrooms and eight baths, plus, as you might expect, a games room and impressive home theater for the ultimate movie marathons – we’re wondering if Matthew is a fan of watching reruns of Friends (although we’re big fans of 17 Again). The chef’s kitchen has expansive island seating as well as a table for casual dining and a separate dining room with glass walls highlighting the views for high-end entertaining. There are also four terraces with stunning views of the city, ideal for both entertaining and dining. The listing agent for Matthew’s Century City apartment was Greg Holcomb and Cassandra Petersen of Compass in Beverly Hills, with James Harris and David Parnes of The Agency representing the buyer. Where will Matthew Perry live now?
Matthew, best known for his role as Chandler Bing in Friends, where he made a million dollars per episode, has been buying, restyling and reselling homes for years. As well as the Century City condo, he also recently sold a Malibu beach home for $13.1 million. While living mostly in New York and selling two of his California homes, Matthew still owns a Pacific Palisades cottage, which he purchased last year for $6 million.
